Any baptized and sacramentalized Roman Catholics, inspired by their vocation, are called to live the Gospel through daily acts of love. As volunteers, they embody the corporal and spiritual works of mercy—serving the poor, caring for the sick, guiding the seeking, and forgiving with humility. Rooted in John 13:34–35 and supported by Matthew 25:31–46, their actions recognize Christ in the least and make them disciples of God’s love. In joy and perseverance, volunteers become living.
